Porter Airlines lands at YSJ

Saint John – Join us in welcoming the inaugural Porter Airlines’ flight from Ottawa (YOW) to the Saint John Airport (YSJ) on Thursday, September 21.
This flight marks the start of a new daily non-stop service between Saint John, N.B. and Ottawa, Ontario. Service continues on the same aircraft to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ).

|2:45 PM – Special event ceremony begins, including speeches, photo opportunities and media interviews|

RSVP: This special event has limited access due to security restrictions. Media wishing to participate in the runway photo opportunity must RSVP with name, outlet and title by September 20 at noon to firstname.lastname@example.org. Media must show valid government-issued photo identification and undergo Canadian Air Transport Security Authority security screening. Media who have not received a confirmation of their RSVP by September 21 will not be able to attend the runway photo opportunity. For security reasons, photographers and camera operators will travel in a group.
Parking: Please note that the short-term parking (in front of the airport) will be under renovations on September 21. Therefore, members of the media are encouraged to park in the first lot on the left, coming into the airport. Parking costs $2.50 per hour.
