The Saint John Airport wishes to ensure
the comfort and convenience of all passengers who use the airport
facilities. As such, we have taken a number of initiatives to ensure
the needs
and comforts
of those requiring specific facilities
have been met.
The Saint John Airport is an entirely non-smoking facility.
There are four designated parking spaces with the International
Symbol of Accessiblity as well as an accessible passenger drop
off and pick-up area. Our entrance and entire facility is on the
ground level and completely wheelchair accessible as well, including
accessible washroom facilities.
Our FIDS (Flight Information Data System) is accessible to the
visually impaired by telephone. TTY telephones are also available
for the hearing impaired.
Contracted car rental agencies, limos and taxis are required to provide mobility aids through advance reservation request.
Wheelchairs and temporary escort passes to the boarding lounge may be arranged by contacting the appropriate airline upon arrival.
Although the Airport has not designated a specific relieving area for service animals, it is preferred that the grass areas surrounding the short-term parking area be used, where possible.
If you have any questions about the accessibility of our facilities,
a comment, or a suggestion on how to make the Saint John Airport
more accessible, please
contact us. |
